We are currently seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Front Desk Coordinator to join our team and contribute to our mission of promoting oral health and wellness.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Interaction:
  • Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Assist patients with the completion of necessary forms and paperwork.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.
  • Answer incoming calls and address patient inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department.
  • Insurance Coordination:
  • Verify and update patient insurance information.
  • Process insurance claims, pre-authorizations, and follow up on outstanding claims.
  • Provide clear explanations of insurance coverage and financial responsibilities to patients.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Maintain and update patient records accurately in the electronic health records system.
  • Handle billing and financial transactions, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
  • Ensure the waiting area is clean and organized, creating a welcoming atmosphere for patients.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with dental professionals, dental assistants, and other staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to relay important information and updates.
  • Problem Resolution:
  • Address and resolve patient concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Work with patients to find suitable solutions for scheduling conflicts or financial challenges.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Dental Front Desk Coordinator or in a similar administrative role within a dental practice.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in dental software and electronic health records systems.
  • Knowledge of dental insurance processes and terminology.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

We offer Competative pay, medical, dental, vision, vacation, sick pay and 401K.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
